I get it. I really do. When I weighed 430 pounds all I wanted to do was find clothes in my size. I prayed they would look good, but hiding my body was my prime motivation.

Looking sexy was a far off dream. Finding energy seemed hopeless.

I’ve discovered you can lose weight on any diet, pill, shake or supplement. The diet is not the problem. There is something deeper going on. I knew this when I weighed 430 pounds. I just wanted someone to help me understand what that was.

After losing 250 pounds and keeping it off for going on four years I understand a whole lot more. Along the way, I have discovered some motivational keys to help you reach your goals.

We have all been brain-washed into believing that we have to lose the weight quickly. So we go on starvation diets and when we’ve lost the weight, we go right back to the way we’ve always been eating. We gain it all back plus more. That was me for more years than I want to admit.

Keys For You

Here’s one huge truth I’ve discovered. The short-term fix of a diet does not work. The long-term lifestyle change mentality does work. I had to find a way to eat that worked for me, stick with it and never go back to the bondage I was in.

We have to change the way we think about ourselves.

We have to understand why we are on this journey in the first place.

We have to learn how to change our habits from bad to good.

We have to learn how to deal with temptations and cravings.

We must learn the basics about good nutrition and what works for us.

We must learn the principle of surrender in order to step into a total transformation—body, soul and spirit.
