  1. Don’t exercise. Don’t even try to find an exercise you might enjoy.
  2. Eat whatever you want especially sweets and breads.
  3. Eat whenever you want especially late at night.
  4. Don’t ever deal with any situation that causes stress.
  5. Never set any boundaries in your life. Let everyone’s issues or agendas be more important than yours.
  6. Try to keep everyone happy all the time. Keeping peace is, of course, the most important thing and never ever allow conflict to happen.
  7. Never keep track of what you eat or what your total caloric intake is.  Tell yourself you don’t eat that much.
  8. Never be accountable to anyone including yourself. Certainly don’t go to one of those groups where they work on addiction problems. After all, everyone needs to eat. You are not addicted, you just like to eat.
  9. Try every diet and fad there is to lose weight quickly so you can go back to eating whatever you want.
  10.  Always reward yourself by eating whenever you have done anything good, whenever you need to celebrate, whenever you have worked really hard and are really tired, whenever you are really lonely, whenever you are really bored.
  11. Believe you are nothing special and never will be so it is not worth the effort it will take to change your behaviors.
  12. Let everything in your life revolve around food rather than relationships because food is way more easy than trying to work out any relationship issues.
  13. Eat in your car , eat in front of TV. Don’t think about what you are eating. Just eat it!
  14. Buy lots of quick, easily accessible snack foods like chips, cookies, ice cream, candy to have on hand in case you get hungry. Certainly never buy things like fresh fruits, vegetables, yogurt and whole grains. These things just spoil too quickly anyway.
  15. Inhale your food. Do not try to taste and savor it. That takes too much time and you are busy. Eat standing up. As you are cooking, taste everything more than once.
  16. Never challenge yourself to eat mindfully.
  17. Never keep any agreements you make with yourself. After all, you are the only one who knows what you have agreed to do and you don’t matter.
  18. Park as close as possible to the door. Always go shop where they have a wheelchair cart available so you can just drive around the store and pick up what you want rather than walking and getting any exercise.
  19. Never ask God to show you what is wrong, intervene in your situation or remove temptations.  And if He does tell you something, just ignore what He says.
  20. Live in a fantasy world. Pretend nothing on the list applies to you.

Obviously no one wants to gain over 100 pounds. If you are headed in that direction, choose a few things that stand out to you from the list above and do the opposite.  Don’t try to change everything at once. Choose the things that are most problematic for you, make an agreement with yourself and begin to change things.

One small step today equals a giant leap for your future. You deserve it. You are worth it. Let me know what things you have chosen to do!
